Maybe this is unnecessary, and maybe I’m the one who needs to calm her tits, but seriously? People who are offended by tasteless jokes to the extent that they write long, angry diatribes about how rude and disgusting they are need to probably stay away from the internet. As it turns out, people like joking about dead relatives, mass atrocities, and all sorts of races, religions, nationalities and stereotypes about those. If it offends you, you could always just IGNORE it. Because really, if you start shouting about it you are just making a bunch of noise over something that actually doesn’t really affect anything or anyone and you are wasting time and energy being angry about truly trivial things. Ok so there are plenty of jokes that you could argue perpetuate truly harmful stereotypes, but maybe the key to NOT perpetuating those stereotypes, is NOT TAKING THEM SERIOUSLY.
